Here is the article of 24hrs
Le projet de construction d’une des plus hautes tours de Montréal qui serait érigée aux alentours du Centre Bell s’est concrétisé davantage, mardi, au conseil d’arrondissement de Ville-Marie. Deux autres projets immobiliers importants y ont également été présentés.
Estimé à 160 millions de dollars, le gratte-ciel développé par Cadillac-Fairview Limité attendrait les 61 étages et serait partie intégrante d’un complexe totalisant 400 millions de dollars.

Les 14 premiers étages comprendraient divers établissements commerciaux, dont un centre sportif et un restaurant, tandis que 700 appartements seraient répartis sur les 47 étages du haut.

Pour sa part, la corporation immobilière Magil Laurentienne désire implanter un complexe de cinq tours aux abords du Vieux-Montréal. Un projet d’une valeur de 350 millions de dollars.

Un autre projet d’une tour résidentielle de 35 étages a également été exposé.

Il s’agissait de la première fois qu’on présentait officiellement ces projets au conseil d’arrondissement.

^ wow that's juts not viable. Some of these metro stations would of been built in the middle of fields, and super low density areas. The metro would have gone broke, methinks.

^ They expected Montreal to hit 7 millions or something at the turn of the century back then. Even with 7 million people that would have been nonsense.

Disons que un petit building the 6 etages comme ca, c'est un peut weird pour 127 000 000 $? vraiment?

Oui c'est petit 6 étages mais il y a parfois de petit projets qui attire beaucoup les projecteurs sur une ville qui finit par amener de bien plus grand projet dans son sillage!
