It would serve DC Canada and their advertisers right if we all get to watch it online before they air it!

Hey Carlos, You never mentioned how happy you were that you can finally see a corner of the cladding from your view! I thought for sure you would have posted a few dancing bananas that day.

Because I am seeing people worry, Hurricane Irene will not hurt One World Trade Center, or any New York skyscraper badly. New York City has strict hurricane force wind laws for all skyscrapers proposed, under construction, or completed in NYC. Many skyscrapers will survive except they might lose windows, but they will survive. What I am more worried about is the storm surge from Irene. It could flood the WTC site, but remember this isn't regular freshwater this is saltwater. Salt water corrodes metal, and that could weaken the steel, and everything that is down there. It isn't a good thing.

Here's a closer look... And I still don't know what they are. They look heavy and they are curved. Add them all together and it would make a huge circle with a diameter of at least 100 feet.

Hmmmmm..???

That's a bit melodramatic, isn't it? Worst I'd even expect to see would be maybe some glass damage. After all they take events like this into account when designing buildings.

EDIT: I jusy checked my digital cable box... I can order the channel (at additional cost) right from my remote. I wonder how much they'll yank me for that?
k... i guess it's okay with me, a special day, with a special documentary... cool combo... but i think i'll feel a step behind our American friends.
The downside is, there are TONS of 9/11 documentaries airing the day-of, most of them primetime, so i'll be missing a few for this one... but this one WILL be the one to watch

if it doesn't happen, Rogers will get a very angry phone call.

BTW: HOLY EFFIN COW, those renders are INSANE! they almost look real!
