I always like comparing 1WTC to SWFC... they have so many similar design cues from the sloped walls, to the concrete bunker base.... I wonder which one is/will be sexier than the other... SWFC has the hole at the top and slimmer profile, but 1WTC has the spire...... hmmm.... seems like a close match if not a tie.

It's VERY faint, but in the middle of the photo you can just make it out above the landscape

I posted the renderings because they are very similar, not the exact copy. The smaller version is what was reported as the final version of the spire. I'll believe that to be the case until we see otherwise, we could be very soon. BTW, that also happens to be the best version of the spire I've seen, and its the spire that will define this building, unlike the originals.

Hey, Can you please re-take this shot when it's not very hazy?

It will be SUCH A GREAT SHOT of the tower if you can see it & if it was very clear. I really love seeing a view of Manhattan from NJ with the hills.

When I was a kid going through NJ, I used to love how the Empire State Building & the World Trade Center "Twin Towers" used to just POP-OUT of the hills like that.

I would love to see a better shot like this when you can see the tower & when it is very clear.

Anyway, I like what you were trying to do. I had a hard time finding the tower at first in the clouds & I think alot of other people had a hard time also. Please retake this shot if you can.

I made it down to this end of the city yesterday. Had a good time walking around Battery Park, going on ferry to Liberty Island... and getting an overall big sunburn.

Nobody does care what its called. If you want to call it the "Shiny 🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵 Tower" then you can.

It just makes you look like an idiot. Most of the public calls it the "Freedom Tower", but most of us here call it One World Trade Center. They are as interchangeable as America, United States, or USA.

Nobody cares and it is a non-issue so don't bring it up.

Just imagine if the Freedom Tower was finished and it aligned just right in this last picture with Beekmen it would resemble the twins, almost.
