Well, I was in Kelowna over the last few days, just amazingly beautiful weather 9sunny and hot!)

So i stopped to take a few pictures of the Landmark 6 Office tower.

Here is the progress so far:

While there may be no tall condo towers currently u/c in Kelowna, it is nice to know that this is being built, 18 floors I believe will make it the largest office tower in BC outside of Metro Vancouver.

All pics are my own

Cheers

I don't think so because Landmark recently built an elevated parkade just beside where this tower is being built (but it should be noted that the parkade has at ground retail)

Nice update, Metro. I'm in Kelowna until Sunday. Had I known you were coming, I would taken you out on the lake. Next time.

Flew into Kelowna last night. Can't believe the Lucaya crane is still up. Doesn't the owner want it back to put in use elsewhere?

Was in Kelowna this weekend and snapped this shot with my cell phone. It's not the greatest but at least it shows the progress. I think they are on the fifth floor now!

Holy 🞵🞵🞵🞵, they don't 🞵🞵🞵🞵 around in Kelowna! News of this was only posted here last month and it's already on what? The sixth floor?

So now Kelowna not only has the tallest residential building in BC outside Greater Vancouver, it will also have the tallest office building. Way to go Victoria.

i'm not 100% certain. I believe the plot of land is right next to the strip mall where cooper's foods used to be. it's an abandoned lot that has had a few of its structures (fruit picker shacks, garages, etc.) go up in flames due to arson.
the land has been for sale for a couple years now, although it might have been sold recently.

but... now that I think about it, this could be located between the highway couplet. the block is probably 50% parking lots at this moment. here's hoping it's a legitimate proposal.

Any other Kelownians ("Kelownites"? "Kelownials"?) have more recent shots of this project?

The webpage says Elliot Rd. Google Maps doesn't have an Elliot Rd. for Kelowna but does have an Elliot Ave. so it may be here. I've identified a location near to Elliot Ave. that seems to resemble the location shown in the renderings.

Possible location - http://www.google.com/maps?q=49%2e879566...n)&ll=49%2e879566,-119%2e489578&z=17&t=h

no, no, it's elliott road in west kelowna.

this is the block in question - between elliott and brown:

http://maps.google.ca/?ll=49.829042,-119.627928&spn=0.004658,0.011362&t=h&z=17&vpsrc=6

what i was initially thinking was further north on elliott, by solar rd.
