I expect an LED raindrop effect like the lights in Yaletown.
The only place on the tower that I could see them installed would be in the "gutter".

Pics by me today:

I prefer the crown glazing that they went with to the stepping one pictured in the renderings. The dark spandrel units continue up in the fins with the same dark glass while the blue curtain wall glazing gives the slab ends a blue appearance which is picked upon by the blue glass on its portion of the crown. This is coming together as one of the best examples in the city of how a landmark building meets the sky.

One thing I find irritating (but its understandable) is that on the south side, the mullions that would (on the east side) taper to form thin window pane wedges have been eliminated and replaced with bigger trapezoidal window panes (tp preserve the views). You can see it on the floor with the lowest cabled stayed balcony - to the left there's a big pane, to the right, there's a small pane. The same is true for the two penthouse floors.

The same is NOT true for the lower floors, where the window panes taper normally.

I was surprised to learn today that 35% of the residences remain unsold. I hope whoever bought at pre-sale prices doesn't plan to sell in the next 5 years lol

The developer never adjusted prices up or down. Came out of the gate at around $1350/sq ft and to my understanding is still at that level.

The hotel has been in a 'soft opening' the past few days but officially opens this friday.
I got a sneak peak this afternoon and it is gorgeous! Even the public bathrooms.

Here's the entrance from the porte cochere.

Looking up into the pool from the porte cochere

Wonderful art deco sconces gracing the entrance alcoves.

Thanks for the sneak peak photos, Built Form. It's looking very sharp, indeed.
