Oh man, I totally forgot about that one, I probably wont have much time to take photos tomorrow though, Im mainly going there to bike around the city, which I absolutely love to do. Austin is about my favorite place to bike in the world.

Besides the Federal Courthouse, the Cirrus Logic Headquarters is also under construction at 800 West Sixth Street.

The Waller Creek tunnel is also under construction, but there may not be much to photograph at this point.

There are other developments outside of downtown: Star Riverside, Zach theatre, also there is the UT area which there are several midrises u/c that were never mention on here.

Btw I went by the Star Riverside development 2 wks ago they have a new sign called Riverview, and there were alot of construction workers on the site. Looks like we will be seeing a few cranes in the area soon.

Yeah, the AAS mentioned that one in the article Kevin posted inn reply #9038. It isn't one of the 4 the article was mainly referring to, but mentioned as also being under construction.

Sorry Kevin I didnt see your post til today, maybe next time we can hang out and bike around. I got a ticket yesterday though for not stopping at a stop sign so thats awesome. I've been riding bikes for about 7 years in cities and never been ticketed before and this apparently will go on my drivers license as 2 points which makes no sense since you don't need a license for a bike and it could also go on my car insurance which makes no sense either, as if a 150 dollar ticket isn't bad enough already. Oh well, I still had a kick ass time in Austin yesterday.

At the w they had tons of workers replacing the glass, and the courthouse is coming along quite nicely.

They may have been cracking down on that. I read that a young lady didn't stop when she should have and got hit by a cement truck the other day and had to have her leg amputated. It was an interesting article about how some guy saved her life. I'll see if I can find the link real quick....

On Monday I'm driving through Austin again and I won't ride my bike this time but I'll take photos for a couple hours.

Speaking of, the city needs to do something about bikes/pedestrians using the Lamar street bridge.

The damn thing was a death trap which is why the city built the pedestrian bridge in the first place. I now see people biking or walking on the tiny little sidewalk almost every time I use the bridge now.

They need to fence it off or something. Those little "emergency use only" signs aren't getting the job done.

Sorry to hear about the ticket. That's never happened to me, but I'm a nerd when it comes to following the traffic laws. I've heard from several people here who also got tickets for not having bike lights.
