You need to use the jpg file that you get when you right click on the image and select copy image location. Is this the image that you wanted? (I am not sure how I got it, since I can't really explain it - somehow I was able to link to it through your post).
This isn't a found picture but is a new webcam view that I haven't seen before of the Halifax waterfront and Maritime Museum of the Atlantic - "Nova Scotia Webcams" link. Many of us know of the various webcam views at the same website, but for those who don't, it is a great way to see what's happening in Halifax at any time of the day.
Nice shot of a building whose looks disappoint. Great location though. Worst thing would be having to put up with the yahoos on those bicycles creating traffic jams around the Common.

It's the bottom of Admiral's Cove Park just off of Shore Drive. Specifically these shots were taken on the rocky beach area down towards the DND Magazine Hill lands.
It's a gorgeous area if you can find your way there.
Awesome! Thanks. I'm definitely going to try! Although I would be weary of wading into the water at the moment if I were you. There is a huge red tide in the harbour at the moment! It looks crazy. I was on the ferry today and looked over the edge and it looked like blood stained water.
^Yes unfortunately I work the next seven days straight so I don't have to worry much about heading to the beach.
I live a half hour walk from Admiral's Cove and I used to live closer so I know the way through the forest thank god (though I will admit I have gotten lost before). I'll PM you some pointers to getting there. I definitely encourage a trip to the site though the reward is worth the risk.

I use that website from time to time. I was down in Hali this time last year and really want to go back again soon. Nonetheless, that webcam has super quality captures. On that note, if you scroll through the timelapse at dawn and dusk you can get some amazing sunrise/set shots. I was actually awake til 4 am one morning (dont ask why) and loved the sunrise I got a chance to see

I drove down to Nova Scotia from the Toronto area several years ago and drove through the night. The sunrise going through New Brunswick was amazing (it was a day late in June). There were broken, wispy clouds that created some very colourful skies as the sun came up. I don't know if the sunrise is better down there or if it is just that I seldom see the sunrise in Ontario to compare with.
Beautiful Picture of the forest fire. I was in that forest over the winter. People say how tragic it is seeing all the tree's burnt and black. But the fire has transformed that forest into a surreal and twisted landscape. It was a beautiful place and very easy to move about with the limited undergrowth and rock barrens. I walked around aimless for hours and got some interesting photo's on my camera phone. Salvador Dalí would be proud of those charred woods
Love the shot of Fairview Cove with the apartments in the background. Not sure what the status is of the highrise proposed for the old motel site but if it moves forward it will add considerably to that skyline.
Halifax has a great looking waterfront. As far as the waterfront goes, Halifax doesn't take a back seat to any city, large or small. Actually, I think that the entire downtown area looks great (both the heritage buildings and most of the newer buildings).
