I think it should be 1349 pinnacle and 1269 roof, cause wtc.com says it'll be 1349 feet tall. Also, I think the name of the 1WTC topic should be changed as well. Either to 1776 and 1368, or to 1781 and 1373, cause at wtc.com they say that it'll be 1776 feet with a 408 feet spire.

omg not this again^

we will find out the true height soon enough... the WTC site makes it sound like it grew 80 feet however it could just be bad wording... plus it would look silly to only be 100 feet taller than bulky tower 3

Kanto, WTC1 will be 1,776 feet tall, including the spire, which is included in the design. Please refer back to the "Roof or Spire" debate of Sears Tower vs. Petronas Towers.

Ok, even I have to admit it, this is getting old.

Let me put the bottom line in more simpler terms: Be patient and let the workers build the towers first. You'll be amazed at how tall the towers are, you'll probably don't even care what the actual height is.

exactly, couldn't have said it better myself... all the towers will be tall, even if we don't know the exact heights yet, or they are vaguely stated. Just be pacient.

LOL same here. Those steel columns look somewhat thinner than the other perimeter columns. It's not good to have thin steel supporting the foundation of a 1,300+ ft tower.

That steel is only under the trading floors, and not the actual tower.

Still, those trading floors still rise to a great height. Well, there's always reinforce concrete that may be added to make it stronger, like those 4 vertical columns in Tower 4.

Those trading floors are shorter than the base of 1WTC. Plus, there are two more sublevels that have to go in before the entire site hits ground level.

One day when we're looking at this amazing tower, it will be hard to imagine that it was once like this. Remember it.
