A decade since they started construction, and Cityplace is still stuck with its cookie-cutter designs. The one saving grace of the whole development is if their "Signature Tower" comes out with a bold and interesting design.

Here's the 2nd phase of Onni's Fort York development in Toronto's Waterfront:

Whoa, getting so hot even the Vancouver boys wanna get their feet wet in the hot Toronto Market. Reasonable size at 28 floors, hope their next development is a bit more daring.

^?? Pinnacle, Concert, Concord and Westbank are all Vancouver based and have tons of projects in Toronto.

Hadnt heard of ONNI Developments before, Concord, Westbank, and Pinnacle have been plying their trade here for 5 years plus now.

includes 1451 Bathurst St (currently a lowrise office building SW corner of St Clair and Bathurst)

444 Bathurst-College area

Queen E and Carlaw, NE corner (currently a SDM)

Another project in the Beach across from the Beaches library

1451 Bathurst probably is first to come...later this year or early 2012? Could be their largest dev to date...

Thanks Urbandreamer, that is excellent news. I'm familiar with both of those Bathurst development areas. The 444 Bathurst looks like it'll replace the "Electric Supply Company" building. It's a pretty prime location for a condo being close to so many interesting neighbourhood. That entire westside strip of Bathurst is pretty forgettable. Sonmething similar to "B.Street Condos" up the street should be fine, and integrate well with the existing area.

And regarding 1451, it looks like the condo at the NW corner of St. Clair/Bathurst has turned the entire intersection into the next redevelopable hotspot. The NE corner is fitting for a development too!
