face it, Chipman sells cars that others make. Chipman does not know how to create or invent things. He needs to step aside now and let someone who knows world class hockey and world class branding and naming take over. he is a little league man and thinker

Well if the deal goes down the team name will definitely not be the Jets; much to my disappointment. If it's not the Moose, the other option was to incorporate a Polar Bear theme; we'll have to wait and see how it goes.

Calling you a troll has absolutely nothing to do if I like what you say or not. I have absolutely no problem that you don't support public funding, in whatever form that may take.

So, we need an inventor to own our team? Or, someone who sells cars that they themselves build? He needs to step aside, so someone else can take over (when he owns the building and has been in contact with the NHL for years in regards to potential ownership)?

Take a few days off........go and enjoy the nice weather outside. We don't know anything about the agreement and you are already saying you won't support the team.

I was and am a huge fan...I gave a million for the construction of the mts centre. I have a vested interst. I want the best for the city and the people. I want world class! we deserve it! but thanks

One day you're cheering from the rafters, then suddenly one tiny bit of negative information comes out and you're ready to give up on hockey forever. Hmm, it may have been lost in the noise but another rumour is out that in the event of Winnipeg getting the Thrashers, they will remain in the SE division for a season and the realignment will happen the following year. There simply isn't time to negotiate the complex set of moves the NHL has in mind (no details on those yet).

Now everyone in Winnipeg can also complain that they're not in the proper division, because in the 80s they were in today's NW division and by god any other decision is wrong (backed up with all sorts of "reasons" why).

No point in me shooting my mouth off before the details come out but I'm curious how you provide public support without tax dollars. Community investment is one thing. Corporate welfare is another. I hope this is the former.
