^ I recall reading a sign/plaque which explains the significance of those things, but I don't remember and it seems to be gone now.

Anyway, decided to wake up at 4:30am today and go for a walk up and down Baseline Road. Yes, I was harassed by Imperial Oil security:

I came across this area of edmonton http://www.edmonton.ca/environmental/natural_areas/southwest-highland.aspx
on the City of Edmonton website. Has anyone climbed to the top of this, supposedly the highest natural point in Edmonton? How tall is this hill above the surrounding houses? What's the view like? Can someone maybe post a shot of the city from the top?
I'm 600 miles away so I can't see it until my next visit. THX.

^ I've been meaning to make my way up there to see the view, but it's so far out of the way...maybe someday when I have a car.
