Hope they release the schedule soon. I just got the e-mail regarding tickets being on sale tomorrow at 10:30. They waste no time

Wow, almost 11:30 and both Robson and Granville Streets are still going off!

I think people need to realize even though it was an epic game, it's still just the first round...

Oh man, hahahah. The city's going to be an absolute disaster zone if they make it to the finals. '94 all over again, whether they win or lose.

What's up with Scott Road and 72nd? Always seems to be the SoF's centre of activity during the playoffs. Might have to check it out after a game some time, or if I feel like getting stabbed.

loll if the city didn't burn down during the last Sunday of the Olympics, I'm sure we'll be fine for a Stanley Cup win.

I drove through scott road and 72 a week or so ago when there was a game on and there was police on every corner and the game had just ended i guess and we passed dozens of honking horns on their way to the epic centre and that was only game 3 or something

they go nuts there

I actually think a Stanley Cup win might be crazier than the gold medal. Especially if the game is in the evening when everyone's drinking, rather than midday like the Olympics game. Could turn really ugly no matter the outcome.

Still, I have every intention of going downtown more often to watch games as the playoffs go on. Watching the gold medal game from Robson Street was one of the greatest experiences I've had in this city (CTV's crappy screens aside).

It's Surrey's Florence and Normandy. Haha J/K Surrey! Glad to see Canucks Nation regardless where it happens.

And here we go on an emoticon journey of Cory Watching The Game (and the vast patience shown by his sister-in-law):

*pre-game festivities*

*puck drop*

*Vancouver goal*

*game progresses, blood pressure spikes*

*various hits*

*penalty shot*

*misses penalty shot*

*Chicago goal*

*intermission before OT*

*Burrow's penalty*

*kills off penalty*

*Burrows redeems*

And thus, the game was over. And I nearly pass out from heart failure

No riots, just a big party.

What a game. Olympics all over again, and what a shot by Burrows, a little fake, balance, then BOOOM.

Canucks win Game 1 against Nashville 1-0. What a snoozefest. This series is going to be pretty brutal.
