This is what the "royal wedding" coverage makes me think of.

It's probably be the multi-year sex drought. After four years in a relationship I'm done and not looking to get into another one anytime soon.

BTW, I'm tired as hell. Went to work, packed, took a late flight to LA and it's almost 1am here and darn near 4am where my day started.

The royal wedding covers makes me think of supporting republicanism.

Only 8 days to go, then it's all over.

I think they are hiring in Alberta and Texas. Choose wisely.

Nope. It's over when the paparazzi runs Kate's car off the road.

I'm sorta sick, just sore throat and head cold, but still it's annoying the shit out of me, and, I have a geology field trip to RMNP tomorrow, well, today, leaving in about 3 hours, actually, and I had JUST gotten two hours of sleep when my roommate calls me at 230 and wakes me up and guess who hasn't fucking been able to fall back asleep.

God damn awesome.

^Isn't it purdy. I love pointless corporate art. I'll be heading downtown in a few minutes to get my lunch and I usually park by this deep, inspiring sculpture.

Perhaps if viewed it from another angle we can appreciate the statement the artist was trying to make....

......Nope, it still looks like a giant, yellow intestinal tract.

My car's a little more damaged than I had thought. We've been using the rental car to try and straighten out the metal

Going back out tomorrow to give it a few more solid tugs.

By the end of next week I'll either be driving my car, or getting rid of it.

Hey buckeye, remember those signs I was telling you about? Also, W of the tunnel on I-70, it's a 7% grade for something like 8 miles. With curves. It's actually pretty fun, you can play the game where you don't even touch the accelerator, and see how far you can make it without tapping the breaks.

Those are all about 15 minutes west of Denver, heading eastbound, on I-70.

^ Nice signs. I wish more were like that.

Damnit, I'm sick. Just happy it didn't hit me when I was out in LA. Of course, I get back to Chicago and it's low 40's....

Yeah I think the mad swings did me in finally. One day it's 80, the next day it's snowing, then I'm back wearing shorts, then it's raining and 50. I just drugged myself the fuck up today, just woke up, and am feeling a bit better. Gonna repeat that again here soon, because it's dumping in the mountains right now and I REALLY wanna go ride tomorrow (last day for Breck for the season - though Loveland and A-Bay will be open for several more weeks).

For reasons known only to someone at ADOT, AZ State Route 87 up near the Mogollon Rim on the way to Heber has a series of signs laid out like a story about how much it sucks when you're not watching out for elk and hit one with your car.

I need to head out there sometime and capture it in all its majesty.

Now, if only Flickr hadn't decided my last three photo sets were crap and made it impossible to view any of the pictures...
