Between the project's rezoning, which came forward just prior to everything going pear shaped with the recession, and the development permit application last year.

You finally made the move downtown. Congrats!

Richards is looking, um, super dated already. The brown trim is not a nice colour match with the light blue mullions.

Trim isn't the right word. Sorry, I was watching the game while writing. Actually, disregard that whole post. The mullions, upon further inspection, are white, not blue. I was talking straight out my butt on this one. I shouldn't post while watching the playoffs.

Thank you guys! I'm pretty excited to finally have made it out of suburbia. I'll be sure to take plenty of photos of Richards in the near future as construction wraps up.

There might be skunk, the again maybe not, but in either case, the important thing is that this square (I call it "Georgia Square," but whatever) is a vital gathering place, the real "heart of the city, far moreso than Robson Square ever could be, yet it goes underused, dark at night, and scruffy by day. If you want to address a public space, the Georgia Art Gallery Square is a good place to start. eg. lighting, paving, seating, facilities .........

N.B. You can still do this with an underground symphony hall, too.

Well it's better than what happened last year, with people spilling over onto Howe, which ended up having to be closed down anyway. Seems like 420 day is getting larger every year, maybe it should be moved to the CC next year.

Anyway small update of Karis Place and the Mark foundation taken today.

They should move it to BC Place and keep the roof closed.
