Mucho Burrito is very popular in Edmonton~ Their expansion plans to Calgary... didn't seem to happen. Now that Red Burrito has gone and ruined themselves (they are adding CUCUMBER to the salsa! likely because tomatoes are so expensive), one might have to just settle for Mucho Burrito. Sigh. It just makes me sad I can no longer go there. Ever.

When I was last at Red Burrito, they had added cubed carrots to the salsa. They were quite a distracting flavour and texture. I would have much preferred cucumbers.

Mucho Burrito, unfortunately, lacks the flavour of Red Burrito.

Chronic Tacos on the other hand are quite good. There is one between Main and Cambie on Broadway as well as another opening on W. 4th. They are a Californian chain. Hopefully a DT location is coming soon.

Oh God. I don't know what would have horrified me more. Cucumbers are far too strong in numbers, and we all know Mexicans don't have cucumbers.

Carrots is just... weird.

Hopefully they switch their salsa back, or them trying to save a little bit of money will be their downfall!

A "family Italian" restaurant will be opening up in the former William Tell Restaurant space at the Georgian Court Hotel.

THE WILLIAM TELL was supposed to be one of the ultra ultra restaurants, almost like 5 stars on a Michelin Guide.

Whatever became of THE WILLIAM TELL restaurant?

where is the georgian court hotel?

PF Changs is coming to Canada - but doesn't seem like they have plans for anywhere west of manitoba - I wonder how they would do in a city like Vancouver with so many great chinese restaurants

I'm sure there is a reason a Scottsdale Arizona based "Chinese" restaurant chain isn't expanding to BC...

I work with Taiwanese-born people who really like the Chinese buffet at Safeway, so... you never know.
