Well if One Bloor turns out even half as good as that. We'll be ok.

Fantastic render Traynor!

It's amazing how much of an impact One Bloor will make on the Yorkville skyline.. Goodbye 2 Bloor East!
It'll make it even more so our equivalent to Midtown and Downtown Manhattan (but not as big or tall).

I still Remember the days when Manulife at 166 was our tallest tower. And now already Four Seasons is setting to top 200 meters, and walking down Cumberland has an eerie feeling now, as there are now skyscrapers to the north (and tall ones) where there had been none before.

This is the high resolution Super Skyline panorama of many of the projects under construction or planned for the near future. The original photograph was generously supplied by interchange42. It was taken on his visit to Churchill Condos by Tower Hill at Spadina and St.Clair. I cropped the original and removed the unsightly transmission tower before I added the renders.

The full size and legend of all the projects is below.

It turns out, line-of-sight proved that 42 Charles would be directly behind One Bloor in that photograph. All but the tiniest sliver would have been hidden. So, because we don't have a real proposal yet, nor accurate height and elevation drawings, I didn't bother drawing it.

Apparently, Cresford is making an announcement regarding 42 Charles on April 26th. When they do I'll see what I can come up with.

I figured it was something like that. Can't wait for the announcement!

Great work Traynor. I always like checking out your future renders. This one was hit out of the park!

BTW... I'm looking forward to seeing a render of the new 42 Charles as well, so I can make my diagram of it...

yeah... unfortunately... but for our standards, i guess what we're building is pretty tall... heck, a 150m tower is considered pretty tall outside the cbd, ROCP, Murano, non skyscraper geeks (aka noobs) definitely notice their height. and the fact that we're building even 250m buildings is great.
one day we'll get one.... one day.... but i don't want no cheater spire.. i want the roof to be at LEAST 1000 feet. though 1100 would be nice and separate it from fcp.

If everything goes well, most of these buildings could be built or under construction before 2015.

Well Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal also keep Canada on the map.. And if Mississauga was a bit further away it would improve their chances for more recognition...
