I heard that Denis Vranich is planning to restore the burned out building at King and Hess. He wants to add an additional floor above the (former) roof and make it a 4 storey condo building. He intends to submit an application to the city shortly.

Apparently there was a nasty divorce between Darko and his wife and the children took their mother's side - and thus Denis and Darko have not been working together. So it's two separate agendas as far as their developments go.

I'm posting this in rumour mill because that's all any vranich news really qualifies for.

Definitely rumor mill news. Hope it'll get upgraded to actual news, but after so many years of that building sitting the way it is, I'm not getting my hopes up.

It's mostly people complaining about the bar, but towards the end Chris Mushing says "just talked to my buddy...who is also the VP from Gibbons and has informed me that NO they are not folding.....Bad Rumour....Cheers everyone!"

The Spectator has reported that City Kidz is moving to a Burlington Street building owned by the Hamilton Port Authority by June and is "in negotiations with the authority over a lease agreement".

Does anyone know what building this is?
651 Burlington Street East is the only available listing on the HPA website.

Speaking of Port Authority rumours... was the new tenant for the Lakeport location ever announced formally?
