Noticed there is some of the architectural steel going up on the south side of the 69th Street Parkade. Looks to be a pale green colour.

It looks like they're putting the exterior covering on the north side of Sunalta station. I couldn't see much from the window of the #10 so no pics yet.

From last night, 33rd St SW & Bow Trail. Tunnel is covered, graded and paved over. Road is almost ready to reopen.

I noticed that the other night as I drove by it to take 37th to get to Wal Mart. lol

I'm really impressed with how quickly the WLRT is coming together, they are just flying!

Are they going to use the launching truss until they get back down to grade?

Oh, somebody wash this chap's mouth out with soap!

And yay to me for finally surpassing 1000 posts! Peanuts compared to Calgarian's 11,000+ posts, but still an accomplishment nonetheless!

Thanks! I load the pics onto my flickr account first and then pick a few good ones for SSP and CP.

Noticed they've started installing the final railing on the guideway, looks to have started at the Science Centre and they're about to 14th Street now. Nothing really fancy, just a single rail on top of posts from what I could see.

And tons of the covering is up on Sunalta station, probably about 1/3 the station assuming they've done both sides.

Great pictures. The amount of work and feeling of progress has felt that it has increased significantly in the past 2-3 weeks. The big yellow thing is now a few pillars from completion and the sight of it coming down bow trail is wonderful.

Now that 33rd Street is open, the traffic congestion in that area has decreased slightly. With every give there is a take and 26th street is closed on the south side with some underground work occurring (unsure of timeline for completion).
