I don't usually like to post other people's pictures but I just love this one for some reason.

Here is a great skyline shot of Vancouver by Lumin8 on flickr. just love Vancouver from this angle.

From this vantage point the Georgia is indeed adding quite a bit to the skyline.

^ That is a great angle of Vancouver's skyline. I think there is a better mix of building styles and uses (residential/commercial) than one typically sees (views from Granville St bridge etc.)

^second that. Great shot. Goes to show you the quality of the skyline is there, even without the mountains.

I miss Vancouver (spent 5 years there in the 90s)

Incidentally, what's up with the green roof on the Convention Centre? Why so brown? I thought that this is Vancouver in March, not Calgary in March?

Not sure exactly. It's not your typical lawn variety of grass.

WOW those Quebec City pics are awesome!!!

Very under-served in this thread. Nice to see different points of views from there too...it looks awesome. All the office boom is away from the hill though, correct? So QC will have a separate area from downtown where the office boom is going to/already is happening?

Nice Winter Edmonton pics too.

Really like the Vancouver pics, those aerials are awesome

And London Ontario was a really nice surprise...that city looks like it can measure up to Ottawa and Winnipeg (strictly from a skyline POV, I have not been to London before)! Those pics reminds me of a mix of the two cities actually. Especially considering its smaller!

More QC would be nice

Quebec city is a nice city to both live and visit I think. A little bit cold in winter but I actually guess that you know it alot in winnipeg

I don't know if the fact of having a separate downtown of the old one is a good thing ( Personally I whould not ) ... but the other thing is that we don't get as much place to built in the old downtown ( around 12 lots ) ... so, all of the projects in Ste-Foy is the result of that. Beside the thing that Ste-foy is close of the two bridges and that there is WAYYYY more lots to built. So right now, I'm going to say that the old downtown is not done, but he's rly going to be shifted by Ste-foy in a close future.
