hmmm... those two pictures of Edmonton are interesting. But the distance makes it appear, that there has been no change in 40 years.

Except for the RT Line, which is the most obvious difference in the two pictures.

If larger, there is a larger one, you can see just how many other 12-20 storey towers there are behind the top of bank ones added in the 70s-80s. Keep in mind that most of our building boom was 65-79....

Also, much of the downtown CBD cannot be seen from this vantage point.

lol guys, I said how much they got done in the 60s

That pic is dated 1969, its quite amazing how much they got done during their building boom

Plus there are new buildings that cant be seen from this angle...and you can see the tall ones in background, are much more numerous

Now if someone wants to compare Calgary from 1969 to now :O:O

The Air Canada Centre dosnt look much different then it did before it was turned into an arena. Its hard to find any images of it pre-ACC.
