To be honest, this complex is ugly and does not fit Moscow at all. I am a russian, so I can see better, unfortunately...

Just have a look at real Moscow iconic skyscrapers:

^^^Cities don't have one set of architecture. That's a big characteristic of cities, is that the architecture is diverse. I personally like the new skyscrapers whether I'm from Russia or not. And also you picked out a great and broad selection of skyscrapers to show us!

Just out of curiosity, I have always wondered about the title of this thread "Moscow, City of Capitals"? Does Moscow have a lot of capitals in it? Lots of buildings or monuments that have capitals on them? Why do they call it that?

I think that the key is in imperial ambitions, maybe, 'cause of Imperia Tower, City of Capitals, Eurasia Tower etc. In Russian language "Город Столиц".

The complex is called "City of Capitals" because it consists of two towers -Moscow Tower and St.Petersburg Tower.

Also, name of the developer company is "Capital Group", so it's a way to include developer's name in the name of the tower.

Thanks to all of you who have posted such breathtaking photographs of this project.
I don't know if this development has won any awards for design or architecture but I am sure not many would be surprised if it has/does. A new precedent has been set in Europe that is going to be hard to match, nevermind exceed. Well done, Moskva.
