Just caught the Earthcam while it was rotated up again:

And an older one too (December 9th). I would have posted it at the time I saved it but it took about a week for me to get approval to post after I registered here. By then I'd lost my enthusiasm.

^^^UGH! Someone pushed the HDR too far. It ends up looking like a cartoon.

Anyway...The Discovery cams are still down.

I know I am a big conspiracy theorist, but every time they are down, I think it's because they are installing some big piece of Government Spy equipment. and they don't want us seeing what it is.

It's perfectly accurate. Manhattan actually is a cartoon.

Can somebody offer a reasonable answer, as to why?

Maybe due to the weather conditions. There has been a lot of snow in NYC recently, and it would slow down work on the site. You can't raise steel during a storm.

That's what I thought. This has been a rather unusual winter there, i know, but during calm phases, progress has been on such a rapid rate, that it is hard to tell how soon or how much more time it will be.

7WTC is 741 to the glass parapet, there's a little half-floor in the middle that goes up to 750 feet. I roughed it out in my re-do of 7WTC's model:

STR your renderings are amazing, the only thing that better then your renderings are the finished product them selves, not even the Port Authority or Libeskind can do a rendering like you do. Out of complete honesty i think this is your calling.

I was wondering if you STR can make a rendering of how it will look like looking outside from the windows of the obervatory deck of tower 1v2 ?Thank You
