Oh boy
I'm guessing this is coupled with a lack of right turn lanes?

Is this stations lease up soon, or did someone screw up big time?
It's a legal issue as far as I know - the gas station should be removed, but not sure exactly what is going on.

Think it is zoned as Tynehead Regional Park, but I may be wrong on that.

ya this was reported (here) a while back. I think Whalleyboy posted some cool renderings and stuff. As far I know there hasn't been any movement on this for years.

Has anyone else seen the activity in the mock-parking lot on the north side of 104 and University Drive? That's where all the material used in D'Corize was staged. Yesterday there were some container units in one corner, with more being dropped off this morning.

Any idea what's up?

I believe that is for the water pipeline work at the intersection of 104 Ave and University Dr, residents in D'Cor community received notices from the City of the work being done there for the next nine weeks.

Although, I was hoping it was meant for the four storey apartments in the land behind it. That proposal has been in limbo for the past two years.

Yeah, that's what I was hoping as well. Stupid mundane waterworks...

I was trying to figure out if I did or not I know i posted pics from it atleast...was to lazy to look at the actual thread for the office towers. On that note it is kinda sad nothing has happend yet. But i'm gonna keep my fingers crossed we might see something this year. The whole gateway office district is one of my personal favourite things for Surrey.

Hopefully someone with a deeper interest in the area can go thru the following document and extract the details and post them here. There is a bunch of details about what they'd like to see, how it would be run, as well as other insight into the immediate area.

Cloverdale Multiplex REI.

well what i got out of it is the 10,000 seat arena they where talking about is in cloverdale....which blows my mind that there doing it out there. Is there any wonder the city centre is falling behind and turning into a fail. Although give this is more of a 10,000 seat plus abiltiy for trade show use. But fact still stands wrong location. Also I'd like to note this is them working on there cloverdale fairgrounds land plan.

I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a convention centre or an arena...either way, sounds like something that, if it has to be built at all (not sold on that), should be built in the city centre and not way out in Cloverdale.
