FYI WhipperSnapper/other Toronto editors:

This file (http://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/mmis/2011/te/bgrd/backgroundfile-34585.pdf) indicates apparently accurate heights for Festival Tower, 21 Widmer and others.

Thanks. Already have the heights for these buildings tho from their applications. (Well, not the film board.) Rather side with the application process than some firm's elevation drawings.

Here is some construction sites from my hometown of Sault Ste. Marie. All photos by me.

Biosciences and Technology Convergence Centre at Algoma University.

F. H. Clergue French Imersion Public School.

Project 2011 at Sault College, east portion of the building.

Project 2011 at Sault College.

New Algoma Health unit on the Sault College Campus. I believe it will be opened by the spring.

Site of the east end solar farm. They are currently levelling the terrian, the solar panels should come in late spring.

Superior Heights High School at North Street and Second Line East. Will be open September 2011.

New towers at Prax Air at the Essar Steel Algoma Complex. These structures are some of the tallest in the city.

9 Floor addition to the Windsor Park which is now the downtown Algoma University Residence.

New Sault Area Hospital. Will be completed by March 2011.

Lowering the crane.

EPCOR

The riggers were working in -22C weather 15 - 20 kph winds and snow storm starting. Add to that the light was fading.
Had a hell of a time trying to capture this with the changing light, snow and FN cold.
Even with a Canada Goose jacket on it was cold. Plus batteries only last so long in the cold.

we're also left hoping we won't need anything at the top that's not already there...
