Colemonkee, the Chevron at Fig and Expo is going to be replaced by a six-story, 56-unit apartment and retail building called Icon Plaza. The Daily Trojan had a brief article on it way back in September: http://dailytrojan.com/2010/09/08/chevron-gas-station-closing-for-housing-unit/. From the rendering in the print version of the story, the design is far from exciting, but it's good news nonetheless.
