Southeast panel is going up now. I'm sure once the crew gets used to getting these massive panels up, we'll have a better idea by then

This is fantastic. I can't wait until the cladding starts to come up all around and this beauty really starts to take shape.

Using a tower crane to install the southeast corner panel. That's three corners up so far.

Photo By GreenwichBoy over at WNY.

I think it well take a bit of time to get the first row up, they have to get it just right or the rest won't fit. Once they get to the 21st to 22nd floor installation should speed up.

Let's see, no leave outs on the south side, maybe 4 panels each left out on the east and west sides for the constrution elevators. That leaves the northwest corner, I expect they well take down some crane track soon so there well be no leave outs for it.

Did they use the principal cranes to install these corners?

My God, the cladding is so beautiful. Wow.

Good question and I was wondering the same thing. I would think hanging cladding would be a terrible waste of crane time.

3 (or 6 actual pieces of glass). Only the NW side (AFAIK) didn't get installed today

I can't wait to see a complete row of glass. It will give us a good sense of how it will all look when finished
So far though, the facade looks nothing short of only the best glass out there. Not to mention the silver border (not sure if there's a name for it).

Now the signal of a true skyscraper rising has begun. All doubts can now be put to rest.

When you look at how large a piece of cladding is compared to the workers then compare it to the size of the building you get a real sense of the size of the building!.
