so you mean some benevolent group is going to just put up art? in my wishes. but there's no way it won't be advertising if they were to use those spaces.

Just noticed - but there's not enough light to take a photo -

The first piece of angled glass is up on the Georgia St. side of the tower.

I'll try to get a shot tomorrow.

Wow. You can really see where the building starts to come in again with those columns, eh?

Here are the pics by me today - in the last pic you can see glass on the angled facade and there are panels up on the alley side too.

Brackets being applied on the podium for the precast panels:

First glass up on the residential part (is that a blue strip?) - looks like true curtain wall (even facing the alley):

Again, what a great addition to our city! love the first pic, it makes the tower looks massive relative to its neighbours. Thank goodness Vancouver was able to fill one prominent location with a tower of decent design and height.

^^
It is weird to see a building get so high without glazing. Normally the glazing is about a dozen floors below the one they are pouring. Does anyone know why the Georgia is so far behind?

Also, what are the forms in the foreground?

I think someone said something a while back about the glass shipment being delayed. Or maybe I'm just imagining that and making up fake excuses.

Question when?

How many floors are left (not many, I would imagine) before it's topped off? And when might that be? Any ideas? Thank you
... (tried counting. Seems like about 4 or 5 to go)
