Target date for the third crane is Dec. 1. The whole project is scheduled for completion in 2014. One of the cranes on the east side of the ramp may be removed once they hit floor 55. Things should move quickly until they reach the podium when things will slow, especially on level P5 where there is a two and half metre thick slab of concrete to deal with. In image #2 the red arrow depicts where the TTC entrance will be. The blue arrow points to the yellow fence. This is where level P1 will be, the first level of retail. This level will house 176 mini stores like the type you find in Pacific Mall.

So it will slow down at the top of the Podium? I wonder why they need concrete that thick on the roof of the podium, The tower will obviously not be supported by it.

Maybe they want to create some seperation from the mall and subway on the lower levels from the residences above. Like a sound buffer perhaps....?

I think that's the way it's always been.

Chicago gets blue faces with sunglasses. And new York gets Happy Faces, yellow.

So the big three all had those identifiers on them.

Likewise, I want nothing more than to bask in the glory of its shadow.

Rending of:

if it turns out half that nice it will be the #2 skyscraper in canada, next to the bow. IMO that is. lol

In addition, London projects get the green arrows.

it definitely has the potential to be Toronto's, if not Canada's nicest modern tower. i still think the bow is more. but lets face it this tower has everything going for it. i hope the glass is as dreamy as the design of the tower itself. i am very impressed with this one.

That's going to be an excellent tower to serve as a backdrop for Dundas Square.
