There are several Muslim MPs, Rahim Jaffer was the first.
These are the two mayors I've been able to find.
There was a M. Afzal Khan who did a year as Lord Mayor of Manchester a few years back, but it's an honourary position, although he is on council.
Mohammed Hameeduddin is the mayor of the mostly-Jewish (!) Teaneck, NJ, (pop: 40K) but he was not directly elected by the public, rather by his fellow elected councilors.
So it's a big first at the mayoral level, from what I can see.
