Just got back from voting. Can't believe how busy it is right now.
We waited at least 1/2 hour in the line-up to vote in Ward 6. It was a bit disorganized, there were so many people showing up that the line-ups for the various name ranges blended together at times.
There was also some talk that the maps for Ward 6 were wrong and people were showing up at the wrong polling stations. Any idea which maps they were referring to?
I think that is a common problem across the city. At least with the Feds, you just had to look on the enumeration card (if you got one) as to where to vote.
Yep. I heard a few people complaining that they couldn't find their address on the online lookup site as well, which doesn't make things any easier for them.

Side note, Mr. McIver and some aldermanic candidates are taking liberties with how close their signs get to polling stations on election day. No tape measure but his signs were under 50 meters from the school.... but the polling station (gym) was on the other side of the school, more then 50 meters.... does that count?
Must be 50 meters from the building, unless on private property. I just came back from voting and got the supervisor go out with me and tear down a big ass sign from one of the public board candidates - Shazad Ashraf, I believe, but I'm so hungry right now I might not be remembering this right. She said that's the 2nd time today!
