[QUOTE=SpongeG;5017646]i read on wikipedia

Aw —. That Wiki article is full of mis-information. In fact, much of it concerning flagship renos is dead-wrong, and appears to be made-up wishful thinking. We should probably both remove our posts, and I should move my Chanel/Kors comments to 'rumours'. lol.

I'm going to ask a friend in Toronto to pop by The Bay on Queen and see if there are any signs of rumoured LV and Gucci shops facing Queen Street.

lol apparently these new A&W's are really cool inside. They have touch screens that allow you to order everything, and customize it, yourself.

they were testing the system at the A&W at YVRs domestic terminal earlier in the yea. I like it, works pretty well. in all honesty, it beats having the order screwed up by someone not proficient in english (i feel so bad for saying that)

some one on SSC said that they wished that the gucci and louis vuitton at the bay on queen street had street entrances

so that was the toronto person's saying that peaked my interest into tracking down what i could find i couldn't believe gucci and louis vuitton would be in the bay all i could find was wiki and what this person who lives in toronto said

All i know when is when i was at the bay in vancouver downtown and saw a $1400 Alexander McQueen dress my friend jaws dropped - they carry Alexander McQueen? they had lots of other stuff

Lord & Taylor which owns the bay has Louis Vuttion, Gucci, Dior etc

The bay in vancouver boutiques i heard we were getting are Kate Spade and Coach - Holt Renfrew apparently dropped Coach recently so...

either way its not tommmy hillfigger and liz claiborne for top brands anymore not the bay i used to know

Yeah~ A&W has always been my favorite fast food place, along with Dairy Queen coincidentally

That said, I haven't been to either in probably over 5 years

Right across the street!

I was impressed at Joe Fresh, some stuff caught my eye, and the fabric is good for its price.

Oh lord, the A&W on Dunsmuir is a nightmare. The one time I was there they screwed up my order so badly that the thing I ordered, the thing they charged me for, and the thing they actually gave me were all different things. You'd think at least two of the three would match.

Down with error-prone humans, yay for technology.

Davie and Howe

FYI - the retail space at Davie and Howe that had a website teaser of the same name for some time, is a fancy Telus store catering the the LGBTQ community.

—? Gadgets for the gay community? "Finally! I don't have to act all butch at Future Shop anymore!" Just for the record, I'm gay and I think this store is dumb. At least it's not another Starbucks, I guess.

Telus: The Future is Fancy.

Agreed. It is a stupid concept. Ya, it's going to help improve the TELUS brand image towards the gay community, but as a business I suspect it will ultimately fail. There's just no reason why someone would shop there instead of normal stores.
