omg edmonton's only contribution to this thread looks like it was done on MS Paint - those buildings look too extreme for the 2000s haha
who's seriously gonna build them?

i like the clear transparent building on the left, the one with the red stripe & roof element

^Hey! That render is not for public consumption!

I did that in short order just to demonstrate height for 4 Seasons for someone on UT.

I was going to add some more projects and refine it before I posted it on here. Cal you're too fast.

I wouldn't include Cumberland Terrace. It's just a proposal with no indication that it will be U/C any time soon, if at all.

You're really impatient Cal! Sheesh!

There was a lot to add to that one.
(Florian, Milan, Four Seasons & 4S East, One Bloor, Finish Uptown, Couture, X2 and Chaz... I still have to add U Condos on the far right.)

One Bloor looks a tad tall. I would imagine it almost the same height as Four Seasons being on Yonge with the Four Seasons on Bay.

You may be right. I made it about 248 meters high. (No one can seem to nail down the actual height.)

I used the difference in height of The two 2 Bloors to estimate the scale for One Bloor. That is: approximately 12 meters difference between 2 Bloor East and 2 Bloor West. Using that as a starter, I found the spot about 100 meters above 2 Bloor West.

Hey but it's all in fun.

I would think the new 1 bloor should be a "fin's height" shorter... but damn.. god job with 1 bloor. it looks great.

OMG does the area look SO MUCH MORE DENSE! Before, tower's like Manulife, uptown, etc.. had a backdrop of blue sky!. NO MORE! it's amazing what these buildings do to these areas!

Cumberland is one of the missing puzzle pieces in this scene... can't wait to see if it goes good! (we have to wait and see some renders of it !)

What are those 2 buildings u added north of FS?

^I was going to add Cumberland Terrace and U condos but Cal was getting impatient! LOL

The two north of FS are The Florian on the far left at Davenport and Bay, then there is Milan Residences at Church and Yonge.

To complete the shot from left to right, I also added: Four Seasons East Tower, Four Seasons, One Bloor, Finished One Bedford and Uptown, Couture, X2 and Chaz on Charles.

Interchange42 at UT confirmed the total height of One Bloor at ~238 metres, so you're only off by 10.

If it wasnt for Toronto-Financial District, Yorkville would have the tallest skyline in Canada, when all these buildings are complete. This all due of course to the height increase on One Bloor of 4 meters. I hope when all is said and done, it ends up closer to 250 meters than 240 meters. That would be nice.

Extreme left--Pears on the Avenue. Then there's 3 or 4 towers proposed on Yonge St near the Canadian Tire--a condo and a hotel proposal at 906 Yonge St, and another at 901 Yonge St. Between the Florian and Milan should be the Yorkville Condominiums then there's the 2 tower old 4S replacements; finally, Minto St Thomas in front of 1 St Thomas with 77 Charles to the right.

Slightly out of the shot to right will be U 1&2, the St Mary St Victoria College residences/seminary, Nicholas Residences, Five and that Sherbourne St highrise rental.

Perhaps the Bazis "Exhibit" condo will show up in this view, as may Museum House and that Devonshire Place UofT Goldring Centre for High Performance Athletics

Finally, Plazacorp's (?) Wellesley St E condo tower is about ready to launch....

So, how far is the Toronto real estate market going to crash when the current round of proposals is finished being built?

Good question, Dylan, lots of people would have thought it would have run out of steam by now, but it just keeps on truckin'......someone over at UT reported there were over 200 agents in line for a new condo in Etobicoke released this week, 'Ocean Club', all with orders from their clients....

/over 100,000 people move to the GTA every year......
/interest rates are still low
/apparently the economy is actually improving now...
