I'm the first to critize Northlands with all the stunts they've pulled recently, but they really do deserve some credit for the Derby this weekend and working with the running room to cross market each others events this weekend a good idea.

The place was packed to the nuts on Saturday for the derby, its just really unfortunate that crash occured.

No they will probably start playing some descent music but after 6 months switch to Nickelback and Zeppelin

Drove out to Elk Island yesterday and came back down Fort Road. The Henday interchange is massive and looks like 2012 will be completion.

One more tidbit. Heard this weekend that Government House is being looked at for Federal Historic Status.

I think they left a good portion of the ex from the first building to the west of the second building...i'm assuming to fill the hole in the mean time.

That pile did seem to get bigger over the weekend though, but they were probably ripping up the rest of the basement and services.

Heh. Anyways, it looks to be only the sewer addition that's being halted and not the bridge. Which is a pain in the butt because it sits directly in the way of the route I take my dog for walks.
