true,put this thing in Philly or LA and it would be making quite the impact.though even now you can see how massive it is and how it will dominate all the structures around it, which in part has already happened.

By rounding to the nearest foot we are at 374 feet and the highest floor at this point is the 34th. The height of 7WTC is actually 750 feet/52 floors. At this point 1WTC is within only two feet or less of being half the height of 7WTC. The next two floors will be a milestone because then for sure 1WTC will be over half the height of 7WTC, well over in fact...

If I'm not 100% accurate I know Zensteeldude would know for sure..

I believe 7 World Trade Center is 741 feet so Tower 1 is more than half the height of 7 right now to the top of the steel, which is about 380 feet.

well to give you a more direct answer the tower 1v2 right now is up to floor 34. so thats 20 base floors and 14 office floors. now the base is about 187 feet tall. each office floor is 13.4 feet high. so 13.4x14=187.6 feet. now add 187.6+ 187= 374.6 feet high.

now tower 7 is 741 feet high at 52 floors high so if you divide 741/ 2= 370.5.

so as of right now Tower 1v2 is more then half of the height of Tower 7 by over 4 feet in height.

So by Feb 2011 or 13 more times steel will be stacked. Then it will be equil to tower 7.

Kinda random but....I was playing Ninja Gaiden 2 a little while ago. The game is 2 years old, but I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that the view from Liberty Island includes both complete 1WTC and 2WTC towers. Takes place in the future, so I'm glad they figured to put them in there!

I've noticed the towers in other places, such as comics and a movie or two. Everyone anticipates the new WTC...

its funny, as I just watched the trailer for "money never sleeps 2", and it had a clip of the main character in the wintergarden, with 1wtc behind him. because of what 1wtc looked like, I can tell that that it was filmed in mid-september 2009.
