I hate confusing bathrooms. At the W in Beverly Hills I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out how to turn on the water.

Shangri-la looks quite nice ^^ So does Cactus Club. I wonder if they think by making it nicer, people will try harder not to trash it up?

As a general rule I will not use public washrooms in North America Nothing that humans do is more frightening.

All I can say is that before I went to university I went to Douglas college, and it seemed like I was the only guy who washed his hands in those bathrooms...
Yeah the last thing I want to think is that right before I shake someone's hand they went and had a wank and didn't wash their hand!

I usually carry a small bottle of alcohol-based handwash gel, just to be sure in situations like that .....

No I think you have the order reversed. Item 1. Is the 5 Storey STIR buildings is on Victoria Diversion (Victoria Drive.) Item 2. is on Terry Fox Way

Thanks.

Now it seems like a shame it doesn't wrap around the to the Granville side (now it just shines into the hotel rooms at the Comfort Inn)

Relax. Considering he's born in Canada I think it's OK for him to be self-deprecating.

You wouldn't be wrong in a lot of cases if we are talking a Country as a whole...

However, Westerners refers more to a "culture" and "place" rather than a certain subset of the population.

I'd hate to tell you that not everyone in the West is white

Funky. I am glad to hear that it changes colour too. It is good to see a new-build actually contributing to the funkiness of Granville Street.
