The building does taper when you look at it from the angle where it looks kind of like two triangles going up side by side, with one upside down one in the middle. You have this angle, and then you have the one in the title of the thread, which shows two upside down triangles sides by side and then one regular triangular in the middle of the two, which hides the tapering effect from the other view because the upside down tapering triangles do not make up the sides, instead they are part of the front. Hope that made enough sense. If you want you can look at the 3d model on google earth to see what i'm talking about.
