Just a tad. Anyone who's ever seen even a portion of Detroit's bad side can attest that Calgary has nothing on it.

Reminds me of what an acquaintance said the other day, after that fight/attack/whatever on one of the platforms - he's so glad to have a car, so that he's not stuck riding the incredibly dangerous LRT.

Said acquaintance of course has no problem frequenting clubs like Cowboys and the like, where you have a far FAR greater chance of getting your 🞵🞵🞵 kicked on any given night, but he didn't see the connection.

Or, for that matter, of getting your 🞵🞵🞵 kicked in or en-route to the parkade.

Is Olympic plaza staying open as a station in the future? Its just one block from the new dual-station city hall platform.

Nope. Once the new City Hall station opens next summer Olympic Plaza will be coming out.

Unbelieveable! This 🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵 decides to ride the CTrain couplers between two cars.

• Video Link

Warning: There is some foul language in the clip.

CBC Story: http://www.cbc.ca/canada/calgary/story/2010/05/04/calgary-youtube-riding-ctrain-transit-video.html

A Darwin Award candidate for sure.

Warning: they played this clip, language and all, on the evening news tonight. I think we can stop pretending it's 1950 and just assume everyone here has heard the word "🞵🞵🞵🞵" before.

Edit: next time please warn us about the ear-splitting retarded chick. I honestly think I blew out my speakers just now.

Edit #2: thanks for embedding it though. Youtube in their fake puritanical ways (ie: spam gathering disguised as "think of the children") is blocking it.

Just a fair warning. Not everyone likes foul language. But, I'm pretty tolerant of foul language in private, but in a public space like the CTrain, I'm not.

I think a guy attempting suicide like that is a wee bit more offensive than some words, but I'm old fashioned that way.

Anyway, I'm just teasing. I always find it surreal to watch something like Scarface be edited for language. Or those post-commercial warnings to the same effect: warning, we're about to show your child people beating the living shot out of each other on UFC, but be warned, they might cuss!

Looks good. I'd probably combine a couple of the areas S. of downtown, but that's just me.

I'd combine Inner City West, Inner Southwest and Inner City South.

I always wanted to know what it would be like to ride the in between parts of the train and now I know.

Anyone know how he got off? It'd be kinda sad for him to step off at a station and walk right onto the track of an oncoming train the other direction.

Very cool.

Nice work Frink. I agree with Sperry though, Inner City West and South should be one zone.
