Most likely yes. I hope that T3 will start soon.

I don't think work on the foundations for Towers 2 and 3 have begun yet. This appears to be the platform for the crane that'll work on the transit hub.

The Twins didn't have automated WW machines, they had hanging scafold mounted on remote control outriggers.

Pritty much the same setup as Tower One, with one exception, the outriggers well run on a ring track just below the comuincations rings.

Search my posts, I posted pics of the WW equipment prints.

Hey NJIT. my old school .

One of the WW rigs can be seen on the right.

OK saved you the trouble of searching, set up my flickr account on my new system.

I remember that view. Use to go up there every chance I had when I was on Governor's Island. Some days there would be low lying clouds that topped out at about 1000', and it would be empty because people thought they wouldn't be able to see anything. You'd be up there in the sunlight in the middle of the most magical panorama you'd ever seen, and they'd be down walking in the fog.
It was a real shame hearing that the new guy won't have a rooftop observation deck. It's just not quite the same, looking out a window.

You know what? We're lucky to be getting anything at all up there. So I'll take what we're getting and be happy about it. Could have been much higher as well (as it was originally planned), but it is what it is.

Maybe I will get some of them. I'm in contact with one guy from CTBUH. He asked SOM for drawings. Unfortunately he did not get any replies until now. But when he gets some elevation drawings, he promised the send those drawings to me.

Just discovered I can see the cranes working on WTC1 from my apartment, though not yet the building. Yesterday I renewed the lease for another year, so we'll see when it gets past the Park Row building.

Right now you can see they are wrapping the four levels so far with the blue tarp that will eventually follow the building as it rises, that along with work inside the tower is probably the cause

BTW RockMont that is the Goldman Sachs New World Headquarters
