I have never liked this building, it doesnt look like its 800 ft tall, it looks squat and the design just isnt very flattering.

first photo is stunning.. the others pretty nice as well... is the city of london going to keep clean of cranes for the olympics?? as far as i remember i've seen cranes in the city for a long long time.

I don't think so - the Pinnacle is only due to be topped out after the Olympics. Still, I guess having the City's tallest building u/c while the games go on will be pretty dramatic in its own right.

Wait until they jack up the 150ft spire.

I think this tower is okay, nothing too special... it's the Pinnacle and the Shard that I'm really excited about.

at first i found this tower boring and dull, but now i really like it a lot.

its very simple, elegant, high class, perfect for london! i love the transparent glass, and the photovoltaic cells installed on the elevator shafts. this is one sweeeet ass tower!

Heron Tower just adds volume and density to the skyline, but its design is dated already. The completion was initially planned in 2005, wasn't it ?

Uhhh, I would hope it would not be dated in 5 years - because it will be there for the next century! Sure, there will be newer and better things, but I hope it will look 'good' now and in 50 years.
