It looks good, until there actually is a fire in that building. People will be thinking its part of the show, when actually its burning to the ground. How many people have called the fire dpt. thinking the building is on fire?

I like the spotlights. Is it wrong that I want to see someone make them all in to bat signals ?

It's not wrong. It's the exact opposite - the most awesome thing in the world. haha.

Actually, when I saw Vectorial Elevation on Saturday, I couldn't help but be reminded of Gotham City from the Tim Burton batman movies.

Thanks for the pics you guys!

Riding the skytrain the other night the new lights on City Hall are fantastic. It is so nice to have such a building highlighted on the Broadway skyline. Also the Woodwards "W" (along with the lights along international village) sure add a nice feeling to the area.

The Cambie Bridge light project is a lighted "vase" located under the south end of the bridge. i.e. not lighting of the bridge itself.

The Granville Bridge project - not sure if there was one, was there?

There's some new blue lighting on the No. 2 Road Bridge next to the oval. It wasn't clear to me how elaborate this will be, though.

They finally turned on the LED light poles on Cambie...you know the ones at the very top of the light/utility poles. It's basically a bright white LED stick with one light that is brighter going from the bottom to the top of the stick.

Forgot to add it has a a bunch of coloured LEDs at its base to form some shape as well. I don't know if it resembled a raindrop...I saw it pretty close up.

Yes there was. It was also supposed to be lit up by LEDs. Haven't heard nor read anything more about it.
