If Phoenix's weather could be changed, what would you prefer?

The poll questions are pretty simple. I find myself cold in the winter here and hot in the summer. Of course, Phoenix's temperature ranges are not as great as continental cities farther from oceans.

Phoenix:

Average July high: 106
Average January high: 66
Range: 40 degrees

Kansas City:

Average July high: 88
Average January high: 28
Range: 60 degrees

San Diego:

Average July high: 81
Average January high: 64
Range: 15 degrees

Winnipeg, Canada:

Average July high: 84
Average January high: 9
Range: 75 degrees

So, I picked more precipitation, summers cooler and winters warmer (less extreme). I think if we took off 10 degrees from the summer temps and added that to the winter's temps, it would be just about perfect here.

Mediterranean, like most of coastal California.

Now if only that damn state would fall into the ocean...

I second the Coastal CA weather. I really enjoy that cool, refreshing, clean air blowing in off the Pacific.

I actually enjoy the tropics quite a bit too, always warm 85 degrees, afternoon thundershowers, sea breeze to keep the bugs away, beautiful green lawns, tropical plants, that grow like weeds, no irrigation systems required and humidity doesn't bother me, I grew up on the East Coast.

I voted for no change. While no one enjoys when its 120, if you didn't have those extreme temperatures you'd have vastly different flora and fauna, which I wouldnt want. I love the sonoran desert and think its beautiful, changing the temperatures would radically change how it looks, so that would be right out.

Now if we're in some sort of fantasy land vaccuum where weather somehow doesn't make any difference in that area, then Id just make it a high of 88, partly cloudy every day.

Don, if you're cold, perhaps try longer shorts, just an idea

Or really short sweats!

And ill take 75/60 every dY of the year with about 8" of rain and nice green grass maybe some hills around town and not such straight streets. Also please provide a marine based theme park, a world class zoo, and a vibrant 24/7 downtown. Hmm you got me off on a tangent.

I just want to see the Salt flowing unimpeded and navigable in some way. If that's a small fishing boat or a cargo ship either works for me.

Summers are fine. I see no option to just have colder winters. I would seriously also love it if it snowed here every so often

At least no one has chosen warmer summers yet... Who else thinks that if we had San Diego weather in Phoenix, it would cost San Diego money to live here?

The weather we have is the weather we get. And it's just fine. Except when it's too hot. Or too cold.

I think that would do it for me as well...if we could get snow every now and then it would be awesome. Not a lot of snow, just 2-3" to stick for a day or two would be awesome in the winter.
