The weather has been absolutely AMAZING. I can't believe how lucky we have been to have such clear blue skies. It has been amazing for taking photos, and I couldn't help but go outside with my cameras and do that once again Unfortunately I slept through the Santa Claus parade (yeah, I'm that lazy), I went out AFTER the parade to soak in the amazing atmosphere of having hundreds of thousands of people on the streets, on Robson, on Granville. Christmas carols being sung, musicians playing their instruments... it was great. Anyways, some photos from today... as you may have guessed.

Yue Minjun’s "A-maze-ing Laughter" - this piece is amazing, and it's awesome to see so many people "playing" with it.

Yeah, it's a sign of the enormous amounts of people who stop to look at it.

I really think it's the best public art in the city.

Some pictures I took yesterday from Burnaby Mountain. All pics taken by me and hosted by me.

I didn't have time to wait for sunset, so all the pictures are kind of washed out due to the sun being in that direction.

Nice pics. I haven't been up Bby Mountain in ages and this time of year you get the best views with all the snow on the local mountains.

Some pictures from tonight's lighting up of the Christmas tree on the Vancouver Art Gallery's lawn:

A childrens choir:

Elvis Costello and Diana Krall were there to flick the switch for the tree. Tonight's event was also a big fundraiser for charities:

The big tree and the frozen fountain in front of the VAG:

And some pics from Sunday as well:
Georgia Street was closed to traffic for the Santa Clause Parade but this was the closest I was gettin':

Downtown Eastside architecture bathed in some great late day light:

The legendary Ovaltine Cafe:

^ I saw that filming tonight too. I was going to go skating at Robson Square with my girlfriend but they were closing the rink early because the zamboni wasn't working
