Radiant City (the film)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiant_City

Anyone else seen this?
I'm watching it right now and it's hilarious. Highly recommended.

Sorry if this is old news - I would post this in the book thread but last time I tried to dig it up I couldn't find it.

Yup I saw it originally about a year ago. If you need to show someone who is completely clueless about the wrongs of suburbia, it's not a bad show to show. It was actually filmed in Calgary, Alta.!

Some of the scenes made me think of Edmonton so I guess I wasn't far off. Also part of it was filmed in Oakville.

I think the funniest part had to be the rearranged letters on the sign for ''suburbs - the musical' near then end. That they managed to combine such low brow humour with commentary from the likes of Andres Duany and James Kunstler in the same film? Then my other favourite part is the kids standing under this new subdivision billboard and the girl says "Bordeaux. It's a wine and a place in France and a place in Cranston."
People often think I have no sense of humour, untrue - it's just completely spent on things like this.

People with shitty senses of humour.

For those wondering they changed the sign to "Stub Rub: He Musical."
