Hmmm, Canada Post express is the best. Purolator is the work of the devil!

And if they are owned by Canada Post, why can't they just leave the package at a local post office like Canada Post does, rather than across the city...

I don't think Canada Post every fully integrated Purolator into their systems. Additionally, maintaining separate offices helps to perpetuate the idea that they are their own 'premium' courier division. I live out in the burbs and Purolator tends to fail to figure out that the intercom on the gate works. Thankfully they have an office reasonably close by but their hours suck.

should i bother buying victory ceremony tickets?

I cannot seem to find a schedule of what artists are performing on which night - specifically about victory ceremonies, not the livecity venues.

Are there artists playing at the victory ceremonies? I thought the musicians were at totally different venues, just playing at the same time as part of the Cultural Olympiad..

Each night at BC Place is the Victory Celebrations where some medals will be handed out and each night features a concert sponsored by one of the provinces and territories (except NB). They won't released the 'headline' Canadian artists that will be performing at BC Place each night.

The Cultural Olympiad and the livecity venues are a different thing.

The virtual waiting room is up and running.............8 minutes until 10am. The wait begins....who else is on the same boat right now?

I'm tired. Should have prepared better and not post on forums at 2am.

From the waiting room page:

Do not open multiple browser windows or tabs as this may result in your session timing out prior to checkout.
Depending on how they are tracking shopping carts, it certainly could cause problems if you happen to get into the site in two different tabs/browser windows.

Got Mens Gold Medal! MY LIFE IS COMPLETE! THANK YOU JESUS!

Row 2!

Tried for Opening Ceremony but only nosebleeds left, I'd rather watch on TV.

Yeah I was hoping they were only saying that to decrease traffic on the website, but oh well.

I'm running 4 computers, each with 4 browsers, and 2 phones. So far only the first window I opened on the first computer got in...

So much for my devious plan.

Hopefully there's still some of those nosebleed opening ceremony tickets left by the time I get in.

It was confusing. It said section 413, price level C... but they were trying to charge $1100

It had to have been some sort of mistake. They can't get away with doing that

I'm glad I noticed before I clicked purchase, or I'd be joining the boycott!!

I was able to get in really quickly and bought 1 ticket for the opening ceremony. I wanted more but I'm volunteering also. Thanks for all the tips that was posted here.

A colleague of mine got tickets to Can/USA hockey game last Saturday. She must have horseshoes up her butt.

I, on the other hand, must have the opposite... still waiting and no sign of getting past the waiting room.

My browser keeps "quitting unexpectedly" but apparently the amount of time you've been waiting doesn't change the odds of getting in...I hope that's true.
