Question Question About A Building Proposed In Nashville

Ok, I was browsing through Skyscrapers.com this morning, and noticed that Nashville had 4 proposals, instead of 3. I was aware that the Midtown Residential Tower & University Towers were scrapped. But, I knew nothing about The Mayfair.

However, I wasn't aware of this development, and haven't heard anything about it. Has anyone else heard anything about it? Has anyone got any renderings of the building? Are their any web-sites that tell anything about the building? Any information will be greatly appreciated. As of right now, this is what's listed:

Floors: 12 (Could be up to 14)
Location: Harding Pike/Woodmont Blvd.
Construction slated for 2004

I know it isn't an extremely tall building, but I'm curious about it.

When completed, West End Summit Towers will have the 4th & 44th tallest buildings in Nashville.

As of right now, Viridian Towers has plenty of information with construction slated for this year. Click below, for more information:

Viridian Towers, Nashville

Oh yeah, I remember this building. There was a rendering in the paper not too long ago. You're right, 12 to 14 floor luxury tower....Belle Meade style. Seems like a sure thing. The rendering was pretty cool. I can't really describe it, but the name fits the design. Quite swanky.

Isn't this the building that bookstar was closed to make way for?

No, Rocket, the Bookstar proposal is an art deco 5-story addition to the theater building which will be built on top of the exisiting theater. This high rise is at the Woodmont intersection a couple of blocks west.

It's going to be Nashville's 66th tallest.

Any ideas on what the facade will look like? Lots of glass? Lots of limestone? Lots of granite? Any ideas? I don't remember the posting in the paper. They must have printed it, on the one day I missed the business section of the paper.

Seems Uncle Dave knows somewhat about it. I just wish I had an idea, or rendering, of what it looked like.

Sounds like a bit of research is in order. I'm not sure where to look, but I'll do my best.
