What would Vancouver be without Science World?

This thought just dawned on me for the first time after reading this article on news 1130. http://www.news1130.com/news/local/more.jsp?content=20091025_230350_9400

Since Science World has always been around for me, basically my whole life, I'v never really thought twice on how this building impacts the skyline of the city. Is this a building that really sticks out for the tourists making vancouver unique because of it? How well is this building known across the county, N/A or even the world? What are your thoughts?
