Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Metrotown, 22nd Street, Surrey Central, King George, Scott Road, Columbia, Production Way, Royal Oak, Joyce, Nanaimo, and Patterson all have 1 escalator? Isn't Main and Stadium have 1 escalator for one entrance, and no escalator at all for the other one? Isn't 29th Avenue and Edmonds have no escalator at all? Isn't all Millennium Line stations except Lougheed and Commercial have at most 1 escalator per platform? So why would the Canada Line be any different? I'm pretty sure Canada Line would come up way above the other lines if you calculate the average escalator per platform. For your luggage, there's this thing called "elevator" that's available in every station. If your luggage is so heavy and large that you cannot carry them up the stairs, it probably isn't a good idea to put them on the escalator either.
