Congratulations on the opening of the Canada Line Vancouver. I've been following this thread for a long time now. Can't wait to try it out on my next visit to Vancouver.

Today was awesome! Travelled the line with deasine and we stopped at a few stations and took many pics.

I arrived at 11:45 at Waterfront and got a good spot close to the front of the line, to bad we could not find the other SSP members, oh well, next time! I will also be posting pictures soon.

that's crazy!! my gf and i were thinking about going today, but when we saw the line ups at marine drive, and oakridge, we thought we'd better go another day instead. the C-line will be there tomorrow..haha..so yeah, we didn't go.

for those who did go, though. How was it? impressions? The feel of the trains when you got on? How about the announcements of the next stations on board the train (kind of like the MTR)? etc

The most impressive part were the announcements in the stations! Hopefully someone recorded them.

agree with metro-1, pretty good sound quality around the stations.

and the crowd at waterfront, and inside every train, will be a long memory...

u could experience sth similar in asian countries, but it was in vancouver.

the line up advisors at waterfront were yelling with direction, and that huge line up, was out of expectation...and the tunnels, amazingly smooth, each turn felt like shifting between the zen states...

and the body to body contact, ah, unexplainable...

Most exciting part of the sardine Canada Line conditions, the train door opened slightly! It was busy, and it was probably above crush load capacity.

We took the 424-Airport Stn bus instead of waiting at YVR-Airport Stn to avoid the two hour lineup wait -___-" We got off at Templeton and took the train! It's all good =D
