I really wish they would change the seats at the stations. I don't see why if they built it like they did, there would be any sort of purpose. It can seat one person. that's it. Anyways, I also see in the future, the possibility of installing doors on the platforms, to prevent people from being pushed over when trains are coming in. I know it has happened in HK, where people have died, and even here (suicides?). To prevent those, I think it'd be wise for InTransit and Translink to put those platform doors on.

Where's/What's the best theatre along the Canada Line? I want to see District 9 again and it'd be a good excuse.

I don't have to pay extra on top of my two zone pass, do I?

Hmm, you could get off Downtown and go see it at Scotiabank Theatre on Burrard. And grab a Japadog on your way.

The walk to Scotiabank would be longer than my Canada line ride.

They put a giant "TODAY ONLY NO ENTRANCE" sign on the south side of Waterfront.

Why does it seem like every Canada line sign is worded by an ESL student?

its brutal but cool - basically think what transformers could have been had they shown the gore and guts

there are no theatres in richmond along the Canada Line worthy of it

well unless you like the old school kind of theatres - richmond centre has a theatre but no stadium seating - which is a must for me these days

Could try the theatre at Oakridge, I haven't been but I hear that it's nice and empty most of the time.

It's pretty gross unless you've been desensitized by crappy gore porn like Saw. Fingernails get ripped off, teeth get pulled, people mutate, people explode, people get torn to pieces, one guy gets tased repeatedly.... yeah it's pretty intense. But somehow doesn't seem inappropriate or tasteless.

My girlfriend could barely handle it.

In Canada line news, the Waterfront line is now over the Cordova overpass and well down Hastings street.

just back from richmond centre station
wow, there are many people... line up until buswell street...
i did not take skytrain... and will take skytrain this week...

i also saw the opening ceremony, chinese lions dance, and limit t-shirts... i took 2 t-shirts!!!!
