My Salt Lake City Compilation

Here I will organize and show pictures I have personally taken over the years. Check back, as I will keep adding and editing this thread to add new pcitures, etc.

These are all pictures from within a 25-30 mile radius of downtown Salt Lake City.

Thanks, enjoy, and offer any suggestions

Fantastic collection! SLC is getting quite a nice skyline these days. The Mtns. are so close to downtown!

Very nice. The city is really beautiful but this is just downright awful... This type of development should be a crime:

I would totally agree with you dktshb, but they're actually being wise and planning for future growth. That is a major, brand-new, multi-state medical center. There are plans for the campus to grow considerably in the future, and thus the excessive parking lots will be eaten up by more facilities and multi-terraced parking as demand warrants.

Amazing. This just looks so beautiful, really well done. What equipment do you run on? Perhaps not for the urban stuff, but I've never seen SLC look so damn interesting. Probably the best SLC photothread I have seen on SSP.

Thanks.

These are pictures I have taken over the last 7-8 years or so. The earliest being the ones from around the Olympics. I have used Nikon SLR, and am currently using Panasonic FZ-28. Nothing too professional, but it does everthing I want.

Wow, a nice early morning boost! Who needs caffeine?? Love the aerials Skyguy, and also cool that you've been adding more pics. It keeps me coming back to see what's new. Some of these pics really makes me miss my old hood on the east bench.

I really like the photos of the mountains/outdoors areas outside of SLC.

This looks like it was taken right from the front porch where my friends and I lived a few years back. They were from Chicago, Iowa, Boston, and Washington D.C. We are all into the outdoors and thought we had died and gone to heaven. It was cool that we were only 10 minutes to downtown and even closer to allot of other cool areas like the University and Sugarhouse. As much as I love certain areas of the world, I will always have to maintain some kind of part time presence in the Salt Lake City metro. I definately think Park City has a place in my future.
